Antitrust risk management
 (Competition Compliance)

Back

When running a business, you must pay attention not only to how you prepare the company at the start, but you must monitor whether the passage of time has not blunted caution and sensitivity to specific issues. It may turn out that you do not pay attention to seemingly insignificant events, and as a result, you expose your company as well as expose yourself to personal risk, when your employees (and maybe you too) even unknowingly violate antitrust laws.

What can you do?

The solution is to prepare and implement an antitrust risk management system. Preparing this solution allows you to gain knowledge about potential risks at an early stage of their formation and when a given risk materializes, you will know what to do and how to behave.

What is the threat?

If you want to eliminate the risk of financial liability (penalties up to 10% of turnover, personal liability – up to 2 million PLN and liability for damages), you must introduce an antitrust risk management system. Otherwise, you do not know what risk you are exposing yourself to and if it materializes, you will not have a structured knowledge of how to act.

What COMPER can do for you:

  • Carry out the identification of antimonopoly risks,
  • Prepare management procedures (including updating the procedure book), and,
  • Implement of a comprehensive antitrust risk management system (Competition Compliance)

Maciej Fornalczyk, Joanna Fornalczyk, PhD and adw. Jakub Miziołek together with COMPER team can support you in this respect.
