University of Lodz, Faculty of Economics and Sociology VIP graduate . An academic at the University of Lodz, WSB-NLU in Nowy Sacz and the Technical University of Lodz. She taught at the Central European University in Budapest. Her research interests focus on applied microeconomics, economics of competition law in the context of restructuring, privatization, de-monopolization, State aid in Poland and in the European Union. In the years 1990-1995 she was designated as President of the Antimonopoly Office (currently: the Office of Competition and Consumer Protection). In 1991 she participated in the negotiations for Polish accession to the European Union together with the process of Polish competition and State aid law harmonization to EU standards. In the years 2005-2014 she held the Chair of the Board of ING Bank Slaski. Since 2004, a member of the Board of Cosmetic Laboratory "Dr Irena Eris" and since 2001 the Board of Directors of the Polish-American Freedom Foundation. Consultant in the Centre for the Antitrust and Regulatory Studies at the University of Warsaw, Faculty of Management and the author of numerous publications, including articles on policy and competition law. Author of Business and competition protection, published in 2007 (second edition 2012).
